Gloria Chen is a practicing kidney transplant social worker for the Abdominal Transplant Center at the Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas at Austin. She has had the privilege of working with transplant patients, donors, families, and caregivers in kidney transplant for over 13 years. She is a Certified Clinical Transplant Social Worker and is a member of the Society for Transplant Social Workers, American Society of Transplantation Psychosocial and Ethics Community of Practice, and the OPTN Ethics Committee. She serves as the co-chair of the STSW Research Committee and has been the co-chair of the AST PSECOP Caregiver Toolkit education committee.
